Description
This Dallas-based industry leader has an immediate 12+ month contract opening for a Senior Project Server Administrator working on a Project Server 2010 installation project. Will be responsible for migrating data from Project Server 2003 or Project Server 2007 to Project Server 2010, upgrading from Project Server 2003 or Project Server 2007 to Project Server 2010, upgrading from Portfolio Server 2007 to Project Server 2010, configuring backward compatibility with Project 2007 clients. Will configure and troubleshoot Project Server (and SharePoint sites) security model, research and audit operations for troubleshooting capability, and debug and isolate performance issues.
Required Experience:
3+ years of experience using Project Server 2007 and higher.
Must have Project Server 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010 experience.
Windows PowerShell Scripting experience.
Experience with Server availability and performance concepts (SQL mirroring, load balancing).
Knowledge of Security concepts and authentication methods.
Experience with Windows Server 2008 and Active Directory administration.
Experience with Networking infrastructure services including DNS and IIS.
