OVERVIEW:
Our client is a very high visibility computer manufacturing company with an immediate contract opening for a Software Developer. This is a hands-on development and testing position that will involve cellular protocol stack analysis, automation solution design and development, and testing. The candidate will work on test process automation for both lab and field tests for multiple groups.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Working knowledge of the software engineering development process and project life cycle
- Experience in the advanced programming, including object-oriented development, Java, C++, JavaScript, Database (Access), Matlab, regular expression and Scripting
- Experience in tools automation and integration/testing of mobile broadband and/or cellular devices
- Hands on experience with protocol and/or wireless RF equipment (operator level)
- Excellent knowledge of mobile broadband/cellular (2G/3G- GGE, UMTS, WCDMA) protocols and infrastructure
- Android Application Development a plus
- Experience in Python, KML, web application development that processes database and generates statistics graph
- Good knowledge of LTE protocol and IP based protocols
- Experience with approvals procedures such as GCF/PTCRB
