An exciting opportunity has arised for a Network Architect with extensive Telecoms experience to join this highly successful and international telco giant. You will be tasked with leading the end to end core network architecture and providing design and implementation leadership for particular delivery projects. You will work closely with the relevant engineering system owners to deliver short, medium and long term network plans and become the network engineering prime representative for allocated projects drawing on the teams knowledge and skill to deliver refined architected solutions.

You will have the following experience -

  • At least 10 years experience in Mobile Telecommunications Industry with knowledge and understanding of Core Network, RAN, Transmission and OSS systems.
  • At least 5 years applied experience in providing project technical leadership and solution design.
  • Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in Computer/Electrical Engineering and/or telecommunications

The main focus of this role is to ensure and be accountable for the end to end network architecture and solutions. This will include all areas of network including circuit switched core, packet switched core, MPLS RAN, Transmission and OSS.

You will also be accountable for delivering project specific solutions in line with target architecture. Responsible for the end to end design of any particular project. This will involve liaising with relevant team members, hardware vendors and managed service providers to draw together designs/solutions that meet the business requirements and have minimal impact on customers.
