Description
Our client is a super high-visibility computer components manufacturer seeking a smart Systems Engineer to help with supporting media and media-related technologies on the client's SoC for phones.
For this contract position, the candidate will be performing system integration on the SoC for handhelds. The goal is to integrate development submission into project upstream seamlessly. The candidate will be expected to perform patch review, pre-integration build, patch submission, and branch rebase.
REQUIREMENTS:- Hands-on experience in source control management git/repo
- Fluency in git/repo commands and git project branch management
- Knowledge of Linux open source patch submission process
- Solid Scripting skills, including but not limited to Python, Perl, and Linux Shell
- Experience working with Android development and validation
- Understanding Android code structure and coding style
- Experience with smart phone product development and validation
- Experience with defecting tracking software such as Bugzilla
