Description
Finance Manager required on a contract basis paying a strong daily rate based in Maidenhead.
Responsibilities include:
Financial appraisal of consumer marketing business initiatives and promotions to maximise the benefit; including value added feedback, identification of key issues and options, and profitability analysis
Producing pricing models and analysis of the findings
Preparation of short and long term forecasts for input to budgets and business plans
Developing the appropriate models and presenting operating budgets for review and approval working closely with the relevant business functions
Month-end, weekly trading cycle and monthly trading performance
Analysis of weekly/monthly trading performance by channel for stakeholders
Manage a base of customers with a highly transactional operation
The role is vast and varied and requires:
Qualified Accountant or equivalent
Commercial experience of working in a marketing environment or equivalent
The ability to interface with various levels of management across different cultures and functions
Experience gained in a telecommunication related service environment is preferred
Strong personality and business facing communication skills giving ability to work effectively in a cross functional environment
Proven analytical skills, showing ability to improve accuracy & efficiency and reduce duplication
Good commercial pricing experience
Strong understanding of profit, mix and substitution and general awareness of the impact of a particular deal
