My client is currently recruiting for a QA Analyst based in Dublin. Candidates must be based in Dublin- It is a 6 months contract to deliver the full range of QA improvements and establish a QA function.

This is a hands-on role which focuses on verifying, reporting and the day-to-day achievement of quality within the delivery process.

Immediate Priorities:

  • Create local QA function.
  • Establish basic QA toolkit locally.
  • Establish basic quality review and data collection in programmes.
  • Rapid status assessment.
  • Collaborate closely with Programme Manager.
  • Provide direct feedback to QA Manager & Head of QA Europe.

Supporting Delivery Management:

  • Provide a point of contact for advice on QMS.
  • Own the program and project QA function.
  • Generate & own the project quality plans.
  • Manage local instances of QMS components.
  • Explain and demonstrate the use of processes, standards & procedures.
  • Product quality control (QC):
    o Create & manage local QA registers.
    o Review work and products against quality standards & procedures.
    o Actively participate in product and process review meetings.
    o Collate & analyse data using basic statistical concepts, graphs & pivot tables.
    o Report data & analyses to project & programme management.
  • Process QC:
    o Track usage of QMS.
    o Support & verify gateway management.
    o Support & verify dependency management.
    o Support & verify programme/project change control.
    o Administer local lessons learned.
    o Report data & analyses to project & programme management.
  • Actively participate in delivery status review meetings (eg, gateways).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Proven career in QA
  • Financial Services/Banking - (Not infrastructure focused)

Leadership Skills:

  • Constantly promoting the centrality of quality in achieving success of all kinds.
  • Explaining and demonstrating use of processes, standards & procedures.
  • Constantly engaging with delivery teams, including project & programme management.
  • Independent evaluation of products and processes against formal standards & procedures.
  • Explaining and demonstrating use of processes, standards & procedures.
  • Communicating changes in QMS locally.
  • Resolving local QMS implementation issues.
  • Identifying problems and opportunities in delivery processes.
  • Identifying problems and opportunities in QMS.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

  • ISO 9000 Assessor.
  • Quality modelling techniques - RAG, SIPOC, quadrants, flowcharts, swimlanes,
  • Quality improvement techniques - process integrity, lessons learned systems, maturity management, etc.
  • Statistical techniques - histograms, trends, correlation, etc.
  • Intermediate waterfall methodology awareness.
  • MS Word & PowerPoint - intermediate skills.
  • MS Excel tools - advanced skills: graphs, pivot tables, and implementing basic statistical techniques.
  • Document management system user (SharePoint, DocuShare or equivalent ).
  • MS Project - intermediate understanding of Gantt charts, critical path, resourcing, etc.
  • Insurance experience preferred but no essential
