Description
As a UNIX SOLARIS and Linux Senior System Engineer you will act as
consultant for the migration of our applications from Solaris to Linux.
You will be the right arm of the project leader to determine the migration
strategy of our application portfolio currently running on Solaris.
Study the platform migration feasibility per application
Write the migration scenario per application, in collaboration with the application responsible
Plan the migration, in collaboration with the projectleader, application responsible and business responsible
Plan the decommission of the Solaris Servers
Execute the migration as planned
You are prepared to work outside the office hours (also during evenings and weekends)
during migration activities.
