Description
Networkers are currently recruiting for a Senior SAP FICO Consultant for a 12 month contract opportunity based predominantly in Brussels but with some time spent in the Netherlands. You will already have the right to work across the region without visas or sponsorship.
Our client is in the process of implementing a Global SAP solution (this includes FICO and a range of associated SAP modules). As part of this project we require an experienced FICO Consultant who can lead the NL/BE implementation project.
Job Description
The project requires a senior Dutch and French speaking SAP FICO Consultant with in-depth functional knowledge of SAP Financial and Controlling processes and detailed knowledge of Dutch and Belgian financial and regulatory practice.
As well as possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills it is essential that candidates have completed a number of full life cycle implementations (4/5 minimum) and offer at least 10 years experience in the field of SAP FICO. Experience of purchase to pay cycle is also essential
Core Duties:
- Knowledge of Dutch and Belgian GAAP and legal/regulatory practices.
- In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting best-practice to help identify areas where business processes can be improved.
- Configuring SAP FI/CO/ECCS modules and integration setup with other modules.
- Leading a range of FICO developments and providing guidance to our clients on SAP best-practice. - Optimising the use of SAP FICO
- Writing functional specifications on FRICEW objects including Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Workflow.
- Conducting unit testing and integration testing with other SAP modules. - Leading data conversion and master data setup activities.
- Managing training and user manuals and documentation.
Other:
- Dutch (Fluent)/French (Fluent)/English (Business) Languages (preferably fluent Belgian speaking)
- Functional experience must be in excess of 10 years.
- Key knowledge will be in SAP FICO but knowledge of Supply Chain Management incl. SAP Materials Management and SAP Warehouse Management would be preferred.
- A broad awareness of SAP generally and how it all fits together including SAP SD (sales & distribution), SAP FI (finance), SAP CO (controlling) etc.
