Recruitment and Operations Manager- CIPS, Recruitment, Central Government, HR, Audit Reviews
Spring Technology currently require a Recruitment & Operations Manager for our Central Government client based in London.
Experience-
* Significant demonstrable experience in managing end to end recruitment campaigns, processes and people (essential)
* Experience of working in public sector recruitment (essential)
* Proven experience of managing and motivating HR teams to deliver high quality campaigns and candidate experience (essential)
* Experience working in an operational HR context including employee contracts, terms and conditions (essential)
* Experience of effectively working in partnership with recruiting managers especially very senior managers to progress campaigns to achieve desired outcomes (essential)
* Significant experience in implementing competency based selection processes and producing job descriptions and person specifications (essential)
* Experience of producing job adverts and placing these in the most appropriate media(essential)
* Experience of working in partnership with external recruitment agencies to deliver effective end to end campaigns (essential)
* Experience of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously to tight deadlines (essential)
* Experience of creating/promoting employer reputation/branding (essential)
* Ability to demonstrate a commitment to valuing the diversity of others and treating everyone with dignity and respect (essential)
* Experience of working with a workforce; professionals (eg lawyers, economists), generalists, case workers, support services, (desirable)
* Experience in administering psychometric and other selection assessments (desirable)
Knowledge-
* Knowledge of current issues and trends within the resourcing and recruitment fields in the Civil Service (essential)
* Knowledge of operational HR activities such as contracts and term and conditions
(essential)
* Good recruitment and resourcing industry/product knowledge (essential)
* Knowledge of the Civil Service Recruitment Code and practices or the principles of fair and open competition (essential)
* Knowledge of the Professional Skills for Government framework (desirable)
* Knowledge of the Civil Service's Next Generation HR change programme (desirable)
Education and Professional Qualifications-
* Appropriate graduate level qualification in relevant field (essential)
* Chartered Membership of CIPD (desirable)
