Work on optimizing current KTBR load on our existing DBAs and SEs.
Daily Responsibilities:
Primary focus will be powershell automation and TFS support.
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
Strong emphasis on automation for file systems, registry, IIS 7.5, SQL 2008 and TFS 2010 using PowerShell 2.0 and 3.0 to push development changes through the pipeline to production.
The successful candidate will have written and debugged several Cmdlets using PowerShell Version 2.0-3.0 with .NET Framework 3.0-4.0
Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
Work with development teams to architect scalable, robust databases; provide database and infrastructure consulting on projects following best practices. Working knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services administration and familiarity with other reporting tools
Performs SQL database design, developing data acquisition flows from various source systems, manages database objects including writing/tuning stored procedures, tables and views in support of application enhancements, proactive maintenance for data integrity and application uptime.
