Manufacturing Engineer/Production Engineer/Process Engineer
Aerospace - Manufacturing - CNC/CADCAM
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £30-35k + package
A global supplier within Aerospace OEM and aftermarket component manufacture is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support the existing team in a period of strategic growth.
Tasked with the practical elements of manufacturing you will be fully conversant with modern CNC manufacturing techniques, programming and machining, ideally for prismatics. You will have an understanding of CADCAM systems and be well versed in NPI as well as process development and improvement methods.
Most importantly you will document and implement methods that deliver robust repeatable manufacturing solutions. You will record and validate manufacturing processes and be experienced in the use of production planning to achieve world class results.
Candidate
With demonstrable CNC machining experience you will be a confident programmer and operator. You will possess knowledge of CADCAM systems with the ability to implement lean manufacturing techniques. You will be able to produce process documentation for the manufacture of precision components conducting process analysis to formalise robust procedures.
