Job description:
Monitoring & Administration in Production and Preproduction environments for BizTalk 2010, SQL Server 2008 R2 with SSIS, SSRS.
Administration (L2) - BizTalk
BizTalk Health Monitoring (Hosts/Ports/Receive Locations/Suspended Service Instances/Event viewer errors monitored by SCOM)
BizTalk Full/Partial solution deployments (MSI deployments/Deployments from Visual Studio)Deployment of BizTalk application artifacts
Source code back-up and maintenance after deployments
Send/Receive Port configurations
Binding Modifications
Performance tuning (SQL tuning)
Capacity Monitoring (Generating Monthly reports from Message Box Viewer and/or other tools and analysing them as required)
Deployment of dependent/custom components (ESM Toolkit, SSO Utilities, etc)
Co-ordination with Microsoft
Administration (L2) - SQL - SSIS & SSRS
Start and stop the services
Upgrade the services whenever Database upgrade takes place
Checking of SSIS AND SSRS services incase of application job failures
Monitoring (L1)
Alert - SCOM or ORION console monitoring
Manual ITSM Ticket creation from alerts
Call out for P1 incidents during out of business hours
