Description
On behalf of our high profile telecoms client, I am looking for an engineer who can travel to Ireland for a contract of testing activity.
Experience:
1 - Good understanding of Telecom domain with exposure to 2G/3Gtechnology
2 - Exposure to IN domain with working knowledge on testing for HLR and Prepay elements
3 - Hands on experience on telecom domain testing/validation
4 - Should have gone through the complete testing life cycle for one small to medium project like test specification preparation/review, test execution, test reporting etc.
5 Testing experience in VAS products and services including element testing, integration testing, end to end testing, acceptance testing and system testing.
6 - Experienced in Creation of Test Strategies/approach, test environment and test plan/cases based on technical requirement and specifications
7 - Designing/Reviewing of test scenarios with respect to System & technical Specifications
8 - Experienced in performing End-to-End, Functional, System, and Regression Testing.
9 - Defect Management and reporting
10 - Good communication skills
11 - Should be able to interact with the customer especially for problem solving and testing/integration as briefed
12 Experience with Mercury Quality center
13 Good Exposure to Prepay Systems and its architecture
14 Expereince in function e2e testing, handset experience
15 Exposure to billing and mediations systems
Roles and Responsibilities
1 - Completely accountable for own work and the work that is reviewed by him/her
2 - Estimate, Plan and organize own work
3 - Create test-plans and test cases based on technical requirements
4 - Designing/reviewing of test scenarios with respect to system and technical specification.
5 - Test Environment setup and management
6 - Test execution
7 - Defect Management
8 - Automate test scripts, if possible
9 - Follow up with customer on approvals
10 - Troubleshooting the issues found in testing and providing logs to vendor
11 - Follow up with vendor on defects fix and verifying the fix.
12 - Preparing daily and weekly status reports
13 - Follow up with customer on test plan approvals
14 - Guiding the test engineers on day to day activities.
