Description
Our client is a super high-visibility computer components company seeking a qualified Test Automation Engineer for a great contract opportunity. This Engineer will be contributing to C3 Middleware components.
OVERVIEW:
- Review requirements, specifications, SDK, user interface documentations and other project documentation
- Develop and execute manual and automated tests using the selected tools
- Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain and execute manual and automated test suites
- Work with the development team to capture and reuse automated unit test cases, drivers and other development test objects
- Work with the development team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification (smoke test)
- Trace test cases and results back to specific quality risks and log defects in the defect tracking system
- Communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written formats
- Participate effectively in estimation, planning, cost-of-quality risk analysis
- Some travel may be required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in C#, Java, HTML, C/C++
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Minimum of 4 years experience in black-box and white-box test automation
- Minimum of 3 years experience in testing 802.11x wireless
- Minimum of 3 years experience in testing mobile devices software
- Solid understanding of Scrum Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skill
- Experience in objective C, Adobe Flash, Rubidium and/or Monkeyrunner a plus
