Job Purpose:
Develops 2010 SharePoint site for Corporate Finance program by working with the Client's IT and Finance Optimization Team to execute the build and design of the site based on plans and wireframe that has been developed. Will need to produce a high design/production quality utilizing creativity and knowledge to bring the SharePoint site vision to reality.
Location of Candidate: Prefer resource to be located in Los Angeles, California; open to interviewing qualified candidates located in Western Region of U.S. Once resource is established and has access to all required tools to perform job we are open to them working remotely.
Skills/Qualifications:
Proficient with SharePoint MOSS features and appropriate usage with strong working knowledge of Master Pages, Layouts, Themes, CSS, SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio.
SharePoint Platform (Design), Section 508 standards implementation, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. Technologies including Microsoft .NET and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. Minimum of 2-4 years experience using the following technologies: ASP, HTML, XML, Flash, SharePoint Designer, JavaScript, CSS, and Photoshop.
Strong experience in the web development field with significant emphasis on enterprise scale development activities. Understands taxonomies, site design, and navigation principles and best practices. This individual should also have experience setting up rules and creating work flows within a SharePoint site.
Experience with SharePoint HTML Design and SharePoint 2010 (preferably) or 2007.
Duties:
- Plans site design by clarifying goals; designing functionality. Move the created vision, style and design and materialize the created concept in SharePoint
- Develops site navigation by categorizing developed content.
- Develops site graphics by coordinating with Program Manager; designing images, icons, banners, audio enhancements, etc. Put colors and schemes together within line of corporate standards.
- Prepares site by installing and configuring server software; installing programming language using authoring and formatting tools; ensuring cross-platform compatibility; establishing links.
- Train Clients resources on the functionality once development and design is complete.
