Description
C/C++/Linux Developer is required by our online gaming client based in Barcelona to become a part of their rapidly expanding development team. As the C/C++/Linux Developer you will be responsible for the Development and maintenance and optimization of Linux server-code. Analysis of functional and technical specifications, Issue assessment, remediation proposals, implementation of agreed solutions. Development, enhancement of functionality and integration into the existing system and Preparing documentation, following QA protocols and testing procedures. This is a no-nonsense, non-political environment and can only be described as a developer sweatshop, this is a role where you will have no reason to get bored. Candidates are not required to speak Spanish for this position as it is a multinational environment.
It is essential you are prepared to work in Barcelona and have some or all of the following -
Computer science or computer engineering degree.
Experience in C/C++ Linux programming.
Unix programming experience.
Unix server programming experience.
OSS project experience.
Experience with some Kernel-land programming.
Software engineering approach experience.
MySQL or.SQL
POSIX, SOAP, RPC, IPC, etc.
Heavy Shell Scripting (or PERL or Python a plus)
Familiarity with Git and SVN is a plus.
