At the moment I am looking for a Solution Architect who has got experience with Juniper and Cisco.
Location: Amsterdam
Duration: at least till the end of the year
Depending on client base, have the ability to take joint ownership of assigned accounts with Account Manager and lead account management on technical aspects. Communicates with clients about emerging technologies, plus communication strategies and develop an understanding of clients business needs in order to protect, retain and increase revenues. Develops strategies with customers to anticipate and address long-term business needs. Anticipates the customers needs and identifies appropriate alternatives. Called upon to provide technical information for difficult, sensitive or critically important accounts. Influences customers and diffuses potential problems.
Identify sales opportunities/solutions and positively contribute to account planning utilizing Sales Engineering tools.
Communicate effectively with other "virtual team" members (Business Consultants, Bid Management, Operations, Customer Services, and Billing) to ensure swift resolution of problems and assist in the development of Sales Engineering/Sales/Support teams via training and coaching. Provide input for proposals/RFPs/RFIs/ITTs by producing network diagrams, responses, etc to Technical Sections against standard/non standard deliverables and required technical oriented descriptions, thereby demonstrating how client business goals can be met.Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of both the communications industry and Business systems, procedures, networks, products and services to enable effective client communications. Provide accurate account information/reports to Sales Engineering/sales management on a regular basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Educated to MSc/BSc Degree level
* Pre-sales experience in ICT industry
* Solid knowledge of several of the following:
o Local and wide area networking, ie: IP, Ethernet, MPLS, optical
o UC&C ieSIP (trunking), (immersive) video communication, UC applications
o IT security
o Business Applications, both technical and functional
o Server and hosting technology
o Technology Platforms (Cisco, MS OCS, Juniper, Riverbed, Ciena,..)
* Clear understanding of national and international competitors as well as market leading products and vendors
* Well developed and recognised consultative selling skills
* Effective presentation skills both internally and externally at all organisational levels
* Dutch & English language skills to a business standard to communicate clearly and confidently with customers
