Description
One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a UNIX Cobol SQL Application Development Support for an initial 12 Months contract based in Brussels. The rates are currently negotiable.
Skills and Experience:
French (working knowledge is compulsory)
- Unix
- Cobol
- SQL
- Pacbase/Syncsort/Perl/AWK/Java/ksh (Korn Shell)
- Oracle
- JCL/TNG or other scheduler
Duties:
- Prepare test environments
- Run environments to deploy new applications versions or interfaces
- Support delivery to production
- Study, Specify, Estimate cost for new developments
- Perform development
- Production incident and bug analysis
- Production monitoring
- Night on-call service for production follow-up
- On-call service for production support
- Potential travels to France or other European countries
