Description
Main tasks/responsibilities:
SAP SD Consulting Support:
- Provide SD consulting support to Business Managers, Expert Users and Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement teams
- Work closely with Local and Global SAP Consulting in the analysis, development and implementation of SAP solutions, supporting New Business Introduction and Business Process
Improvement initiatives
- Assist in the creation of requirements specifications and take ownership of delivery, working closely with local and Global development team
Support:
- Provide 1st and 2nd level SAP SD support for the local IT team
- Take ownership of SD related helpdesk tickets to successful closure
- Participate in systems and integration - design, analysis and testing
- Work closely with local and Corporate SAP consultants in issue cause analysis and resolution
- Work closely with local and Corporate ABAP developers to identify reported system issues
- Provide solutions or communicate and route issues to other appropriate IT groups including 2nd line support in Germany
- Comply with the IT Information Security Manual
Essential Requirements:
Technical Competencies:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or similar level of experience and knowledge
- 3+ Years SAP R/3 SD experience in discrete manufacturing environment.
- Experience in full life cycle implementation projects in a manufacturing/distribution environment
- Strong configuration skills
- Work experience in a client facing role
