Our client is the Northwest's signature software corporation looking for a passionate and motivated SDET!
This Tester will be expected to drive testing, development and execution of regression test suites. Candidates should have strong computer science background with solid C# programming, data structures, algorithms and problem solving skills, debugging knowledge, and experience with enterprise solutions such as Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Exchange, SharePoint and Storage solutions. BS/MS in computer science or industry experience in a related technical discipline is preferred.
Key responsibilities for this position will include design and development of tests - BVTs, functionality, regression and end-to-end scenarios on elaborate topologies simulating client solutions-based enterprises.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-5 years of experience in .NET development with preferable experience in UI development/test
- Experience using Visual Studio for at least one year
- 3-4 years of experience developing Object Oriented software solutions
- Ability to understand software modelling methodologies (eg polymorphism, inheritance, abstraction, etc.) and implement code accordingly
- At least 1 year of experience using WTT (authoring WTT jobs, initiating and monitoring execution)
- 3-4 years of test experience: understanding of test concepts, ability to read a test plan and implement the required test code and distinguish between functional and nonfunctional
- Ability to read and understand UML or any other industry known software modelling tools and methodologies
- Strong software debugging capabilities
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- Nice to have: PowerShell development experience (at least 1 year)
- Nice to have: Understanding of virtualization concepts, worked with either VM or Hyper-V
