IT Analyst - Nashville, TN
Position Overview:
- The IT Analyst is responsible for supporting projects and activities associated with the IT Infrastructure's shared services organization.
- This position is responsible for identifying business and functional requirements, evaluation and design of processes, identification of process automation opportunities, development of plan to achieve ensuring commitments are established and managed to a positive outcome for activities associated with IT Asset and Configuration Management, Procurement and Telecom Expense Management functions.
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with internal customers to identify business and functional requirements
- Shares information across IT and business groups
- Maintains expertise in the application and use of systems, tools, and processes
- Maintains working knowledge of our IT Asset Management, Configuration Management and Procurement processes as they relate to the acquisition and receiving of new assets.
- Provides effective customer service to internal customers
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with a wide range of associates across multiple disciplines
- Identifies and implements process improvements with measurable results
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to use a Microsoft Windows based computer, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and use a web browser to access information and tools
- Must be a team oriented individual with excellent communication skills and an ability to interact with a wide range of associates in various organizational disciplines
- Experience using Microsoft Project to record, track and manage deliverables
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered)
- 10+ years of experience as an Analyst in Information Technology and Finance.
- 6 - 8 years of experience as an Analyst or Project Manager within an IT organization
- Skilled in identifying, communicating and resolving business problems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Broad knowledge of multiple IT disciplines
- Minimum of 6 years in large enterprise IT infrastructure environment
- Experience designing, developing and implementing processes and procedures
- Experience in conducting requirement development sessions and in documenting and managing requirements through project/activity completion holding all contributors accountable for on time delivery of their commitments
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities while keeping stakeholders informed on status of planned deliverables
