OVERVIEW:
For this contract position, you will execute PC Refresh activity (in large volume) under the guidance of Enterprise Client Services (ECS) and Product Delivery representatives. PC Refresh activity includes receiving assets, moving equipment within a site, staging equipment for build/image activity, interviewing clients as part of pre-deployment asset discovery, executing the replacement activity, populating and updating Remedy Service Requests to reflect the activity, and preparing the replaced asset for disposition. Activity may also involve reporting to multiple sites within an assigned service area, as directed by ECS.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming and outgoing assets
- Unpack, assemble, rack, disassemble as necessary
- Prepare systems for deployment
- Scan existing asset for applications and settings
- Interview clients to identify special considerations and other settings
- Use KP tools to execute replacement activity
- Collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements
- Escalate quickly when issues arise
- 2 to 5 years experience with PC deployment activity
- Minimum 2 years experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Minimum 1 year experience with direct client interaction
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to lift, handle, move, cable and otherwise physically manage equipment
- Adaptable to change in process or required activities
