Julie Marshall at CK Science is currently recruiting for a Validation Engineer to join a Quality Operations Division for a pharmaceutical company based in Hertfordshire on a full time, temporary basis.
As Validation Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Validation activities relating to facility, equipment, assay and IT systems. You will be preparing validation protocols and data sheets, performing validation tests, gathering and analysing data and writing final validation reports
- Performing duties in a compliant manner and behaving in accordance with the Quality Management System requirements to ensure cGMP standards are maintained
- Participating fully in the quality initiatives and attending training and assessments as required
The successful Validation Engineer will have the following qualifications, skills & experiences:
- BS/Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Life Sciences, or equivalent technical discipline; experience in the bulk pharmaceutical industry would be highly advantageous
- Prior manufacturing, engineering, quality and/or validation experience in pharmaceuticals is required. Laboratory Validation experience is a preferred requirement
- Knowledgeable in cGMP's (AEQMS, iQMS, CSQMS)
- Strong technical understanding of the industry and validation practices related to the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience of safety and environmental risk assessments for laboratory operations
