HR Advisor
Our Client, a large private sector organisation based in High Wycombe has an immediate requirement for an experienced HR Generalist to join their team on a part time basis for a period of 10 months on a Fixed Term Contract.
Purpose of the role:
As the HR Advisor, you will provide a hands-on HR service on a wide range of HR matters paying particular attention towards Employee Relations. The HR Advisor will play a major part in driving the HR function forward enabling it to maximise the full potential of the organisations Human Resources. The HR Advisor will work alongside line managers whilst providing a professional generalist HR service to managers and employees, embracing employee relations.
Key Responsibilities of the HR Advisor:
- Handle all employee relations issues through to satisfactory resolution including disciplinary, grievance, performance as well as any other functionally specific issues.
- Provide advice and guidance on all operational HR issues.
- Coach and engage with managers surrounding HR policies and practices.
- Provide support and advice to managers and employees of all levels on various HR matters paying particular attention towards - Absence Management, Policies and Procedures ensuring approved procedures and practices are complied with.
- Provide guidance to and support line Managers in delivering an effective recruitment ad selection process.
- Ensure the effective implementation of specific HR initiatives providing consistency in approach and fit to overall business need.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the performance appraisal process taking into consideration compliance and quality.
- Deliver effective performance Management processes ensuring consistency and fairness.
As the ideal candidate, you will be CIPD qualified have transferable experience in all or at least the majority of the accountabilities listed above and be available either immediately or within a short notice.
