We have an urgent need for an Senior ETL Developer with Informatica experience!!!

General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ongoing design, development, maintenance, and support of Informatica ETL workflows
- Partner with the Information Architect to translate the Dimensional Data Model to the ETL Code ( mapping , mapplets, workflows …) using the Informatica Suite
- Optimize ETL data load jobs to improve performance and automate them
- Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues to minimize impact and future occurrences.
- Gathers, analyze and influences user and system requirements. Identify and create solutions to improve system performance and availability.
- Creates system documentation/play book and serves as a technical reviewer and contributor in requirements, design and code reviews
- Identify and introduce process efficiencies in the data integration process.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Develop using Informatica Change Data Capture (CDC) , Power Exchange, Metadata Manager, B2B Data Transformation , Data Quality , Data Profiling, Power Center ETL products
- Perform source system data analysis and data mapping as needed to perform data integration
- Mentor less experienced ETL developers in ETL coding and design best practices
- Demonstrable expertise in optimizing ETL processes as an Developer and thorough understanding of the pros/cons of issues relating to “push”/”pull” approaches to data extraction, trade-offs with Change Data Capture approaches, methods for designing modular ETL processes, including “Target-Based” ETL approaches and other methods for re-use of data transformation logic
- This position will be based in St Petersburg, FL but occasional travel to Raleigh may be required
Ability to establish standards and best practices for enterprise BI solutions using Informatica ETL tool and other data integration techniques a plus
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 8 years overall experience in IT applications development or consulting related to IT applications development
- 5+ years of Informatica ETL experience utilizing Informatica Power Center 8.6 or 9.1-
- 5 + years of Source System Data Analysis and Mapping –
- 5+ years RDBMS experience with one of these databases ( Oracle , SQL Server ,)
- Experience Implementing Informatica Data Quality Suite (Data Explorer, Address Doctor) would be a plus
- Proven understanding of data warehouse design techniques and SQL
- Knowledge and adherence to SDLC methodologies
