Our client, a leading investment bank, currently seeks a COREP Project Analyst, to be based in their London office.
The COREP Project Analyst will be working within the global COREP Reporting project, with responsibility for:
-Understanding complex system designs, data flows and regulatory requirements
-Communicating with stakeholders in diverse locations across the global programme
-The project is working to fixed regulatory implementation dates, so the candidate will need to pick up concepts quickly and have a high degree of motivation, commitment and initiative
-Integrate effectively into the existing Project Team
-The role will be managed at a day to day task level by the COREP Programme Business Transition Lead
-The candidate is expected to be a self-starter, and able to adapt to changing demands as the project progresses.
-The role will be based in London but travel to other Finance sites may be required during the assignment
As such, the successful COREP Project Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
-Experience of working in a Project Environment is desirable, particularly in testing or data analysis
-Background in regulatory or credit risk reporting would be a significant advantage
-Experience of working in a large banking organisation
-Strong analytical skills, particularly in relation to data analysis and validation.
-Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements or Basel II credit risk calculations would be an advantage
-Strong execution and problem solving skills
-Effective Team Player - very collaborative, communicates progress, status and issues on a regular basis.
-Ability to present information in a professional manner and respond to questions from all levels of management
-Excellent written/verbal communication skills
-High degree of motivation and commitment
-Ability to deal with change
