We are recruiting an EDI Specialist to join the team on a large Supply Chain and Finance transformation, known as the Integrated Technology Solution or ITS Project, at Plexxus and our 11 member hospitals. The incumbent will work with the Functional Integration Manager for the implementation of the EDI interfaces and have the following
Accountabilities:
Work with a team of Consultants and Business Analysts for the implementation of the EDI interfaces to be put in place and deployed to the remaining hospitals in the project; identify and document existing interfaces
Participate in the activities required for the development of the interfaces and its implementation including all tests cycles (Unit, Integrated, User Acceptance; design and build new interfaces
Collaborate with Plexxus business owners and hospital stakeholders to further develop and put in place strategy, processes and systems and activities required for the implementation of the interfaces
Present project updates as well as business and interfaces design reviews to project stakeholders
Troubleshoot EDI related issues during the project and during post-go-live support phases
Coordinate with Value Added Network (VAN) providers on cut-over activities
Coordinate with vendors and VANs during testing phases
Assist Deployment Project Managers with the roll-out of their hospital
Interact with IT and business users of the disparate systems
Qualifications:Minimum 5 years experience in a full life cycle SAP implementation; experience with supply chain and/or finance transformation preferred
Experience working in the hospital or broader public sector preferred
Competency with EDI mapping and translation tools and connectors like Seeburger
Competency with RDBMS, specifically Oracle or SQL Server an asset
Demonstrated previous experience implementing EDI with SAP 4.6c or higher
Experience with SAP supply chain and/or finance applications required
Familiarity with SAP master data (vendor master, material master, etc)
Familiarity with MS Project and Visio
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
Education:Post-Secondary education in business or information management with technology studies
