Description
My client is a Brussels based international bank whose activities include securities settlement, clearing and custody. As part of the Project Office, you will provide support to Project Managers in the execution of their projects and to provide added value analysis for IT projects (applications development) across the bank.
Tasks:
Monitoring and reporting on IT projects performance to senior management;
Management of IT projects' financials;
Management of IT projects' chargeback matters;
Monitoring: take ownership of the production, improvement, analysis of data, reporting to senior management;
Ensure implementation and running of the performance dashboard (based on analysis performed by Gartner);
Act as financial responsible for IT projects:
- Forecasting and budgeting of financials;
- Management reporting on financials;
- Follow-up and forecasting of fees budget;
- monitoring of bank's IT support performance (supply and demand);
Act as point of contact for financial matters with the Finance division of the Bank;
Prepare monthly departmental meetings aiming at reviewing financials, headcount and man-days information with IT projects department heads.
Essential Skills/Experience
Ideally, you have previous experience in corporate finance but we are also interested in candidates who graduated in finance/economics and who are familiar with financial terms and processes.
You should enjoy working with numbers, creating reports and interpreting the data to capture the essential points.
- Finance background (familiar with financial principles);
- Analytical skills (helicopter view on data);
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (perform pivot tables/graph/use of functions).
