Finance Business Partner - Accounting
Leading Global Retail Banking is in need of a Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner for a project focusing on impact the so what' and landing the change'. Plus avoiding straight partnering/reporting model; ability to understand the business well, but give credible, independent challenge that leads to action

£400 to £500pd depending on experience
Overview
- Working across multiple businesses and functions to embed and manage the budget timelines and process.
- Providing insight into PPI operating costs and managing the risks and opportunities log.
- Evaluate financial impact of options and decisions in proactive remediation TOM.
- Own the forecast for operations.
- Manage month end across business Unit.
- Liaise & integrate with multiple areas across Symphony including operational planning, local finance teams, IT, programme office & operational stakeholders.
- Primary point of contact for business.
- Ensure that the P2P process is managed seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver insight into cost performance on a monthly basis with focus on KVDs.
- Provide reporting pack with commentary in a timely fashion
- Provide impact assessments on options/decisions made by the project
- Business Partner Heads of operations to support decision making process and cost effective running of operations.
- Deploy and embed the standardised forecast models to be used in each component of our cost forecasting.
- Liaise with control on monthly basis to ensure accounts maintained and cleared against provision in transparent agreed way.
Essential - Qualified Accountant
Preferred - Retail Banking or Credit Card experience
