Field Application Engineer, DTV, DVB, Certification, Belgium
We are currently looking for a Team Lead Certification Manager and a Field Application Engineer with a similar skill set.
Our client is a leader in the electronics market and you will be working with the latest technology in the Digital TV market to exceed the expectations of the consumers.
As a part of the Software department, you will be working with the roll out team where your main responsibilities will be to take up planned deployments and major field calls when they arise.
Other responsibilities and day-to-day tasks will include:
- Certification support during certification period.
- Identify and support resolving blocking issues in the field.
- Prepare and organise work environment in the field.
- Review operator specific requirement documents and test specifications.
- Define, prepare and introduce required test equipment (tools, streams, etc).
- Prepare and execute subset of system validation activities specific to the field issue.
- Write problem reports and report on daily quality.
- Take care of reproducibility, record streams, take dumps, describe TV conditions and upload material.
You are communicative and can maintain good communication towards external partners and internal teams as you will develop sustainable solutions and integrate the solutions in the test software.
Other qualities should consist of:
- You have an Engineering or Informatics Master degree
- You have a good DTV, DLNA, connectivity, Wi-Fi and Skype knowledge
- You are result driven and can work independently
- You are flexible and willing to travel on short notice
- You will be up to 50% of your time on mission in the field
