Job Title: IT Specialist/Oracle Database Administrator x 2
Location: Poznan, Poland
Start:
Duration: 6 months
Salary: Negotiable, Dependent on experience
Purpose of the position:
To provide technical expertise to the system database administration group and independently do analysis, design, testing, implementation and control of the organization's databases across multiple platforms technologies (eg, physical, relational, and Object Oriented) and computing environments (eg, host based, distributed systems, Client Server, web-based), to perform most facets of the engineering, delivery, and services functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- DBMS architecture standards and guidelines management
- to provide day-to-day operational support and remote administration of databases systems
- willingness to have on-line/e-mail consultations or provide direct IT support according the schedule specified by manager
- to take part in projects, improvements and standardizations affecting all supported by Database Operations services and environments
Required Knowledge:
- Experience in Oracle 9i, 10g&11 g and MS SQL 2005 and 2008
- Unix, Linux, Windows, SQL, PL/SQL or other Scripting experience,
- preferably knowledge in RAID technology
Excellent English language skills (written and spoken) are important for this role, Polish language not necessary.
