DESCRIPTIONThe Senior Financial Analyst will perform monthly close and bookkeeping duties, project costing, forecasting and budgeting, allocations and global reporting, and procurement for the IT Finance department.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a central repository of actuals, forecast and budgeting information for all IT spend within organization.
- Assist in the project costing, prioritization, and organization's IT Strategy development.
- Review invoice postings to G/L.
- Review accruals and adjust entries.
- Perform capitalization reviews.
- Enter G/L entries into PeopleSoft.
- Prepare monthly financial reports.
- Develop and track CBA.
- Review accounting treatment of projects.
- Ensure impact of projects included in FC and budget.
- Update quarterly forecast.
- Entry of forecast into PeopleSoft.
- Prepare budgets.
- Entry into budgeting platforms.
- Monthly review of organization's IT allocations with IT Finance for variance explanation.
- Develop GEAR for Global IT Finance.
- Report on global Embedded spend.
- Report on global allocation.
- Review procured items/if in budget.
- Review procurement coding/treatment/cost center.
- Monthly review of contractor status against plan and contract.
- Must have PeopleSoft System financial experience.
