Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily reporting on all projects including safety, progress, environmental, schedule, delivery of materials issues, accommodation, transport, labour and all resources affecting the works
  • Responsible for the development of all facilities project plans, standards, policies and procedures
  • Implement change management and supervisory processes across all construction related issues within projects
  • Responsible for the management of scoping and control resources affecting process, production and end dates, reviews, KPIs and completion processes.
  • The Construction Lead will be responsible for providing direction to the superintendents, supervisors, sub-contractors and vendor personnel allocated to the individual projects and ensure that the safe progress of the works proceeds according to the overall schedules and achieve the objectives of the company.

Selection Criteria:

  • Significant experience on large scale oil and gas projects from both an owners and contractors perspective
  • Proven experience with safety management systems and the application of HSSE principles on construction projects
  • Tertiary qualifications in the mechanical/electrical field or equivalent
  • Chartered member of relevant engineering institution, or equivalent, desirable
  • Understanding of the designated processes, systems and plant operations to enable the safe and successful completion of the works
  • Ability to take projects from a specific engineering design through to construction, commissioning and handover to operations and manage the support services and resources required
  • Ability to manage a team of diverse disciplines in engineering, supervision, labour and vendor personnel to deliver a safe and completed project.
