An exceptionally opportunity has arisen for a strong German Vice President to join the FX E-commerce team in a top tier bank based in the Docklands. The successful candidate will have gained exposure to working in industry for a lengthy period of time with a great history of sales.

Job Purpose

To sell the electronic e-FX offering, focusing on Velocity 2.0, to existing and prospective clients within EMEA.

This job is within the FX E-commerce sales team working with a focused, energetic and high-performing team of professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell leading-edge e-FX services to assigned target client base.
  • Achieve aggressive sales and revenue targets for assigned client segment in EMEA.
  • Make a strong contribution to the E-commerce FX Sales team both in London and Globally in terms of coverage, co-ordination, creativity, idea generation and leadership.
  • Ability to navigate within a firm and source new leads and desks without any prior intros.
  • Capable of establishing strong relationships with clients at a senior level and find new opportunities within an organisation to maximise the sale and effect of our E-commerce suite of products on offer.
  • Coordinating cross firm coverage for the given client-set and work closely with other sales teams.
  • Utilising and leveraging on the resources of the firm for the client's benefit in an optimal manner (trading, research, value-added products and senior management).
  • Effectively liaise with our product partners in FX and across Fixed Income, Equities and Commodities in order to maximize the opportunity set for the firm.
  • Deep understanding on the FX market, trading profiles of the different clients as well as flow valuation according to their styles.
  • The reporting line is to Eugenia Hanoune, Head of the FX e
  • Commerce Sales team in EMEA.
Knowledge/Experience
  • Candidate must possess E-commerce FX sales experience with a top-tier FX bank and have strong institution contacts.
  • Completed understanding of Foreign Exchange markets and in particular options.
  • At least five years experience with a successful track record at a major financial institution
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets and macro-economics
  • Thorough understanding of all FX trading types (SPOT, STIRT and Options).

Qualification
  • Primary degree or professional equivalent
  • Business English fluency/proficiency. No need for a second language but a German language skills would be an asset.
