Description
Our client is the leading computer hardware company seeking a qualified Usability Test Engineer for a contract opportunity. This person will be evaluating usability for Web Apps and Web UI Components on Linux mobile devices and websites.
OVERVIEW:
- Evaluate requirements and define test cases for Web Apps, Web UI Components, and websites
- Perform tests, enter issues, and write test reports
- Direct other user interface testers
- Work with Developers to correct issues
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience testing Web Apps and Web UI Components
- Experience with Human Factors Engineering or Human-Computer Interaction
- Experience with User Interface Testing
- Attention to detail
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Linux on mobile devices (netbook, tablet, etc.)
- Experience leading a team of testers
- Experience with HTML5 or JQuery Mobile
- Experience with Linux User Interface packages
