Description
- Responsible for supporting several project teams in ensuring that all projects are commercially able to deliver on their targets.
- Ensure that control systems are established and maintained to manage project variation/amendments and supporting the creation and submission complex variations/amendments in line with contract requirements.
- Ensure that project teams comply with the project specific contractual administration requirements.
- Ensuring that project teams operate in accordance with the quality management procedures as they relate to the Contracts function.
- Supervising the invoicing processes ensuring that the project maintains the best possible free cash flow.
- Co-ordinate and support periodic project status reports and presentations.
- Ensure commercial related lessons learned on executed projects are captured.
- Supporting the management of the project costing, financial modelling and forecast reporting.
- Support to the Contracts Manager as required.
Contractor Ideal/Special Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or, other relevant legal, commercial energy related subject.
- Contracts experience, clear understanding and usage of contract terms and conditions.
- Experience of working within a project/Matrix organisation desirable.
- Demonstrates consistent commercial and financial awareness.
- Confident motivated individual with good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills and the ability to articulate clearly at various levels within the organisation.
- Ability to work at a detailed level, whilst managing conflicting priorities.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office applications
