Description
IS Infrastructure Manager required to join Blue Chip Organisation. Consultant will be responsible for the operational continuity of the IS infrastructure, IS security system, helpdesk support, training for key users, coordination and implementation of IS infrastructure projects, in accordance with the group policy and procedures.
Tasks/duties include:
- Acts as a focal point and ensures due coordination of IS infrastructure projects, including follow-up and reporting on project status
- Supervises and updates a centralized complete inventory of IS infrastructure hardware-and software (licenses)
- Manages and organizes all operational activities concerning hard-and software systems, application software, network infrastructure and building related IS systems: installation, internal helpdesk, back-ups, safety & security documentation procedures
- Analyses the needs regarding HW infrastructure with a view to guarantee an efficient and smooth network, PC and software support for the users
- Installs operating systems, application software or hardware when small changes in the network are required.
- Offers telephone support to users and remote helpdesk when needed
- Handles all usual tasks related to e-mailing (Lotus Notes) system administration.
