OVERVIEW:
Our client is a hugely popular computer components manufacturer seeking a Graphics expert to provide 1st level support for CAD tools and scripts. The candidate will work with Structural Design Engineers to provide support in the areas of RTL synthesis, static timing and noise analysis, APR, and other Back End related areas. Support includes software debugging, RTL design and debugging, RTL synthesis, and resolving user errors. There will also be development opportunities to resolve current tool limitations and provide continuous tool improvements. In addition, the team is rolling out new capabilities which will require first level support.
Scope of Work:- 75 - 80% will be first level support
- 20 - 25% will be tool/script development
- Mid- level experience and skills
- Must have experience turning RTL into Gatelevel NetList
- EDA tool experience using Synopsis for debug, building test cases
- EDA tool experience in Synopsys Design Compiler, Primetime, or IC compiler
- Familiarity with Pickles or Perl
- Very good in Software Programming
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

- Knowledge in Logic Design and Validation
- Master's Degree
