This is an excellent opportunity to take charge of a top secret scheme of work looking at providing an online solution, which can be discussed on application.
You will be in charge of high-level responsibilities including forecasting, tracking, financials, people management (team of 50-60 FTEs) etc.
This is an initial 6 month engagement, but it will roll for the next few years if not longer.
Your role will have the following responsibilities:
- Overall project management of IT delivery.
- Financial Reporting
- Continuous Forecasting
- Infrastructure planning and provisioning
- Organisation of non-functional testing (perf, sociability, security)
- Overall resourcing demand
- Co-ordination with other projects in pipeline
- Release planning
- Environment planning
- Managing SDMS and tracking of their progress
- IT Vendor management
You should have the following skills and experience:
- Solid experience delivering programs of working in the online solutions space, in a fast paced environment
- A number of years experience leading a team of 50-60 FTEs
- Experience in rapid development environments
- Agile experience with an ability to adapt and deal with uncertainty
- Adaptive to change yet organised and structured
- Ability to ensure that short iterative deadlines are met
- A mixed background encompassing media, wealth management, stock broking or similar
- Strong IT software delivery background
- Experience with online businesses preferred
