Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Support Analyst for a contract position in Duluth, GA. The Support Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of onsite tasks including hardware assembly and configuration, software installation and configuration, and customer training. The Systems Analyst must be able to lift up to 100 Lbs from the floor to a table surface, work on their feet for 8+ hours a day, and endure long work hours if required. When not travelling, members of the Systems Analyst team may be asked to assist with Technical Support, Professional Services, or short-term projects.
Qualifications:
Four year IT degree (MIS, Computer Science, IST, Systems Engineering) or Computer Certification (A+, MCP, MCSE) or DoD Computer Systems Training and IT appropriate work experience
Must have SQL Experience
Must possess a positive attitude
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to train users with varying computer experience
Ability to quickly identify and solve problems
Career-minded with a strong work ethic
Must be self-sufficient yet work well as part of a team
Windows 2000/XP/Server 2000 & 2003
Intermediate Networking and Database skills (SQL, SQL+)
Write and execute basic queries
MS Office (w/emphasis on Access & Excel)
Previous Customer Training skills
Project Management experience, familiarity with MS Project
