UNIX AIX System Engineer. UNIX AIX, Redhat, PowerHA, Kerberos, LDAP databases and Shell Scripting.
My international financial client based in Brussels is looking for a UNIX AIX System Engineer to be part of a team responsible for assuring good operations of the Unix AIX platform, providing support for the UNIX AIX domain (2nd and 3rd line support)
As a UNIX AIX System Engineer you will be responsible for the architecture, infrastructure and operation of the AIX, Solaris and Red Hat, Linux platforms. You must have proven experience working on a UNIX AIX Platform, PowerHA, as well as practical experience with Kerberos, LDAP databases and experience with LDAP databases. I am looking for candidates with good communication and customer facing skills, strong analytical thinking, and a proven ability to be proactive but also work well in a team environment Whilst the AIX experience is mandatory, practical knowledge of Linux (Red Hat) platform, NFS and SUDO would be a bonus. A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar function is expected. Candidates should be fluent in English and French or Dutch.
