Windows Office 2010 Expert. Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint. Windows Migration. Macros. Visual Basic. Our client based in Brussels is looking for a Windows Office 2010 Expert for a freelancer contract based in Brussels.
General Environment/Landscape:
A programme is being set up to oversee the migration of the Bank in Belgium to Windows 7 and Office 2010. It is scheduled to run through 2012 and 2013. The programme will centre on the migration of machines, users and the supported applications they use.
The primary responsibility for converting (where necessary) Word, Excel and Access files, with automation built in, will be with the owning end users in the business. However, the programme will provide support to these end users via a single point of contact, specialist.
The Profile required:
We are looking for an Office 2010 specialist with a broad understanding of the various components (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) and with a good grasp of the automation mechanisms these packages support: Macros and Visual Basic.
The individual should be aware in general of the issues with migration from Office 2003 and of proprietary tools available for analysing potential issues in files.
