The Background: After recently securing several high-profile projects, one of the UK's leading suppliers of specialist Control Systems and Control Equipment is looking for a contract PLC Engineer for an initial period of 3 months, based at their Head Office in Leicestershire.
The Role: Utilising your knowledge of Allen Bradley programming software, you'll join the existing Software team to design and assist in the delivery of various Control Systems for diesel engine governor and sequence control, and pre-programming standalone controllers.
You: With a good all round Control background you'll be able to confidently program bespoke Control Systems using Allen Bradley and RSLogix 5000, ideally with previous knowledge of and exposure to Wonderware SCADA software. You'll be able to liaise with the Senior Software Engineer leading the project, with previous experience within the Power Services industry also highly desirable.
