Volt are currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Analyst working for an FMCG/pharmaceuticals giant based in West London.
THE ROLE:
Prepare monthly reporting for sales and cost of sales of divested products not yet transitioned, in line with the requirements of the divestment agreement.
Review monthly allocation of revenues and costs across the 12 divested products by entity where products have not yet transitioned and resolve any errors with the regional finance staff.
Investigate and resolve queries directly with regional finance teams relating to products divested.
Calculate monthly payment for the net profit of divested products not yet transitioned to.
Calculate and post monthly journals to ensure correct accounting for related products in the consolidated results.
Ensure correct inventory valuations are accounted for when Aspen divested products are transitioned in each market.
Liaison with the Group's auditors (PWC) in relation to the audit .
Additional support ad hoc support on Group consolidation and reporting as required.
Preparation of Income Statement and Balance sheet journals
Promote and initiate process improvements in relation to the reporting of the revenues and costs.
Maintain strong communication with Regional and Corporate finance staff in regard to all aspects of monthly financial reporting.
Investigate and resolve queries from management in a timely manner in accordance with the terms of the commercial agreement
Provision of guidance to entities and Regional Finance on issues arising from the requirements of the commercial agreements with Aspen.
Preparation and maintenance of relevant process documentation to meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
THE PERSON:
Educated to Degree Level.
Member of Professional Finance Institute (eg ICAEW)
Strong interpersonal, communication & effective influencing skills.
Flexible thinking and focus on process improvement through standardisation and simplification of processes
Assist in the delivery of continuous improvement in reporting cycles and quality of information.
Results focus, planning & prioritising, meeting deadlines & delivering results.
Accuracy/attention to detail/integrity in producing results and with limited supervision
