Our client is the Northwest's signature software brand seeking a capable STE for a contract opportunity. If you have experience generating and executing test cases with logical testing acumen, you need to contact us right away!
OVERVIEW:
Candidate will write test plans/specs for small to medium feature sets. Review test specifications, cases, and automation written by others and evaluate for coverage, completeness, and accuracy, finding and documenting holes. Improve test quality and effectiveness by working with Dev and Program Management partners, preventing problems and making the product more testable. Execute test cases, exploratory and directed ad hoc tests, and runs automation to find product defects. Work under manager's direction.
TASKS:
- Owning features of low to moderate complexity
- Writing test documentation (one pagers, specs) on those features
- Executing depth tests on those features
- Assisting with execution of checklist tests
- Interacting in daily standups
- Coordinating test efforts with related developers
- Writing bugs
- Regressing bugs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to independently write complete, thorough, and organized test specifications for owned areas
- Ability to independently write complete, thorough, and organized test cases, based off the test specification, for owned areas
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with other test team members and development team partners
- Passion for quality for the gaming experience
- Experience working in large enterprise software OR games testing experience a plus
This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
