One of Brisbane's High Profile Federal Government Departments is seeking a SAP Project Managerto join their IT team in Brisbane for an initial 12 month contract. The Department will be transitioning from the whole of Government platform of ECC5 to a new owned and operated SAP ERP 6 solution and associated components.

You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:

• Manage deliverables associated to the program on time and on budget
• Provide business consultation and advice in relation to the impact of development or change.
• Manage implementation & integration of a single ERP and BI system
• Identify and manage risks associated to shared applications to project interests of clients
• Management of teams 30, including multi- disciplinary IT specialists and public servants

To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

• 5 - 7 years' work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
• Demonstrated experience in managing successful implementation of large SAP projects in Government Departments
• Experience in managing multiple projects at the same time including competing priorities of resources in Matrix team structure
• High level analytical and problem solving skills and expert knowledge of MS Project
• Have workable experience with Prince 2 methodology.
