Project Manager - Decalog/Front Office/Asset Management - Brussels

Global investment client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join them on a contract basis to manage a Decalog upgrade project.

The successful candidate will require:-

- Solid experience within the Asset Management (or in the financial sector), with a good
understanding of the investment world;
- Strong project management skills;
- Knowledge of Decalog is essential;
- Previous experience on a similar project is essential;
- Fluent in English (Dutch and French optional);
- Negotiation skills;
- Ability to coach and manage a team;
- Strong Business analysis, process definitions, documentation & formalisation skills;

The role will involve:-

* Effectively managing the Decalog Upgrade project (planning, reporting and delivery);
* Act as point of contact to the various stakeholders (prepare and chair the Steering Committee,
manage the requirements and negotiate target dates);
* Co-ordinate installation and testing in the various environments (test and production);
* Make sure we have the acceptance of the key users before the go-live;
* Coach and manage the upgrade team (+ help hire some of its members);
* Co-operate with the various IT teams and the supplier to make sure the upgrade happens with
minimal disruption to the day-to-day activity and to other projects;
* Contribute expertise on the Decalog product.
