Duration of Assignment: 6 month plus a possible 3 month extension

Our client requires the services of a Senior .NET Programmer Analyst, to provide deliverables including, but not limited to, the following:

The Senior .NET programmer analyst as (SPA) part of development team will be involved in development of new application to support Risk Management Programs (RMP Livestock) Financial initiatives and Customer Accounting project (CA). These new application will be integrated to other Legacy systems or applications such as Siebel (main CRM for our clients customer information) and GP Dynamics (customer accounting and GL application) as well as Data collection for RMP by using Adobe Livecycle. In this position you will participate in requirements review, design, development, integration and implementation based on scheduled for these initiatives.

The Senior Programmer Analyst (SPA) will work primarily with the development team lead or project Manager within the corporate IT development team. The SPA will report to the team leader development in the Development Services Group (DSG) and will be responsible for:

1) Reviewing existing requirements and provide structural and technical design
2) Participating in development and implementation of Risk Management Program initiatives a .NET FW4 application
3) Participating in developing conceptual and logical data models where required
4) Working on assigned project tasks along with designated internal resources in the client's IT department and business partners
5) Performing complete unit testing and deliver complete documentation during the application development life cycle (SDLC)
6) Transferring knowledge to the rest of the project team for future support/maintenance of application when applicable
7) Participate in addressing related production issues as part of production support team for application when it is required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in implementing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) on .NET platforms (VS 2010 FW4)
  • Experience in systems integration and implementation of WCF web services in applications development
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in .NET application using C#
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in .NET application (FW 3.5 or higher)
  • Experience with .NET Frameworks like Prism and/or Entity Framework
  • Experience with Silverlight/WPF would be an asset
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in using Oracle 10g or higher
  • Fully experienced in stored procedures and using tools such as Toad or PL/SQL developer
  • Ability to use TFS (Team Foundation Server), MS Project and Visio
  • Ability to troubleshoot possible complex bugs and/or areas of concern in existing code

Technical Capabilities:

  • Advanced level ability in full cycle windows and Web application development using .NET FW4 using C#
  • Experience in systems integration and implementation of WCF web services in applications development
  • Experience in BizTalk would be an asset
  • Experience with WPF
  • Experience with .NET Entity Frameworks and Prism

  • Knowledge and experience of information technology providing the ability to integrate and identify IT-enabled opportunities to solve business pressures/need
  • Advanced skills in preparing design and technical documentation
  • Ability to work, unassisted with minimum supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and consensus-building skills
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Good negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work at a detailed level and quickly learn business application-specific details
