We have a requirement for a UNIX & SQL Support Analyst to join our client on a exciting contract opportunity. This Candidate will have a want to join a leading Investment Bank providing IT support on a enterprise level. This is a fantastic opportunity would be more suited to a mid level analyst with knowledge of UNIX, SQL and has a keen interest in financial services and investment.
Requirements:
Ideal candidates will have 3+years experience in IT support or development with a strong focus on UNIX and SQL. You will be technically savvy, eager to learn new tools, techniques and systems and ready to provide excellent technical support across a range of global investment banking systems.
You will be working with specialists in the field and gain exposure to a huge variety of technical and business-related functions in the industry, making this an incredible opportunity.
Skills & Requirements:
- Computer Science or IT degree
- 3+ years IT support/development experience
- Interest in and desire to learn new technologies, systems and processes
- Experienced in UNIX and SQL
- Desire to work for a leading investment bank and provide top quality technical support
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication skills: verbal and written
- Problem solving approach to work and strong troubleshooting abilities
- Professional approach and ability to work as part of a large global team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Able to communicate with senior management, co-workers and clients
