My client is part the world's leading eye care company, which is a $6 billion corporation with operations in more than 75 countries worldwide and employing over 15,000 associates. They boast the broadest portfolio of eye care products in the three key ophthalmic categories: Surgical, Pharmaceutical and Consumer Eye Care products.
A new role has been created for a Secretary/Administrator to undertake administrative duties within the EU Regulatory Affairs department to ensure efficient service with regard to general administration, product information, affiliate requests & maintenance of databases.
Key Accountabilities
* Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Associate Director, Senior Registration Officer & EU Regulatory Affairs team which includes diary management, booking travel and organising events.
* Maintain databases for Mutual Recognition, Decentralised procedure products & centrally authorised Products.
* Co-ordinate language translations of centrally authorised products for regulatory procedures with the EMA.
Experience Required
* Experienced in a senior secretarial/administrative role within medium to large size organisation.
* Any regulatory or medical experience or exposure within a pharmaceutical firm would be an advantage.
* Strong Microsoft skills -good Excel & PowerPoint skills as well as Word.
* Personable & self motivated individual with excellent attention to detail.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a global company; the role is a 12 months contract and although this is a contract role they offer strong career prospects.
